Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of SchoolNooks ("Service"). By using SchoolNooks, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Service

SchoolNooks is intended for homeschool co-op administrators to manage their co-op operations. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act on behalf of your co-op to create an account.

You are responsible for all activity on your account and for ensuring your use complies with applicable laws.

Acceptable Use

You may not use SchoolNooks to:

• Violate any applicable law or regulation
• Transmit spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any system or account
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service

Accounts and Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into SchoolNooks. We process this data on your behalf to provide the Service. You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate consent to enter student and family data into the platform.

Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly. Prices are shown on our pricing page. Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. No refunds are issued for partial billing periods.

Free Trial

The Trial plan is available for 30 days at no cost. After 30 days, access is restricted until you subscribe to a paid plan.

Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted.

Limitation of Liability

SchoolNooks is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of SchoolNooks after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated by email.
